Leadership Fundamentals

Leadership Fundamentals

At E&BC, we believe that leadership begins with self. This two-day in-person experience helps participants explore the internal drivers of leadership including personality, communication, emotional intelligence, and personal values. Through guided reflection and discussion, each person creates a personalized leadership plan that aligns their intentions with their actions. This course is ideal for new or emerging leaders looking to build a strong foundation for their leadership journey.

Leadership Basics

Leadership Basics builds on the experience of Leadership Fundamentals. Participants apply what they have learned about themselves to the external responsibilities of leadership including managing teams, creating accountability, and navigating complex environments. With a focus on transformational and situational leadership theory, this two-day course supports leaders in developing adaptability and clarity as they lead others. It is designed for those who want to deepen their skills and lead with intention in real-world settings. Leadership Fundamentals is a required prerequisite for this course.

SLAY (Skills in Leadership for Amplifying Youth)

SLAY is a project-based leadership program open to all youth, designed as a safe, affirming space for LGBTQ+ participants. Over ten in-person sessions across two semesters, participants explore identity and leadership while bringing a creative or personal project to life. If you’re ready to grow, connect, and lead with authenticity, SLAY is for you.

CAP (Consolidated Accelerator Program)

CAP is an eight-week hybrid program for entrepreneurs and business owners working in or entering the clean energy space. Designed with busy professionals in mind, it includes two in-person sessions and personalized coaching in between. Participants receive support in pricing, systems, procurement, grant opportunities, and more. CAP is funded by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center and helps translate vision into real business progress.

Our FREE 12-month Comprehensive and Inclusive Support Program (CISP) offers personalized mentoring and extensive support services for Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises.

RISE (Readiness in Skills and Employment)

RISE is an eight-week workforce readiness program for young adults preparing to enter or reenter the job market. The first four weeks take place in person with daily instruction and hands-on practice. The final four weeks include one-on-one coaching to support job placement and workplace success. With a focus on the food and hospitality industry, participants also build skills in emotional intelligence, financial literacy, and digital tools.
